Earmor™ brand Active Helmet Active Hearing Protectors protect against dangerous noises while allowing you to hear ambient sounds. These are picked up by two directional microphones mounted on the outside of each earcup and reproduced through the speakers inside the earcup.
The M31X Mark 3 provides hearing protection in loud areas with impulsive noise, such as areas where firearms are used. The headset-mounted microphones improve the wearer's situational awareness while allowing them to hear sounds in close proximity and protect their hearing. Harsh sounds are limited to a safe 82 dB and low sounds are amplified.

The Mark 3 Series ear protectors have been enhanced to meet the rigorous military standards of MIL-STD-416 and MIL-STD-810G . They also have up to 5 adjustable volume levels to allow even better adaptation to environmental conditions.
The hearing protectors are supplied with 3.5mm AUX audio input cable for connection to multimedia devices.
