A fantastic Cold War collector's piece, this genuine Romanian Army surplus respirator mask was produced in the 1970s and comes with a GOST-threaded filter and a vinyl haversack.
The Romanian Military M74 Gas Mask With Filter & Bag is made from chemically resistant neoprene rubber, with two eye pieces and a round exhale valve. Supplied direct from the military, this mask comes in a great condition.
Specifications:
- genuine Romanian Army military surplus item
- is a licensed copy of the German M65 gas mask, with a few small changes
- with a six point harness, this gas mask fits easily over the head with adjustable straps
- the mask is made from neoprene rubber with polymer eyelets
- including vinyl haversack with shoulder strap
- gas mask is equipped with an orinasal cup and exhale valve, which would have prevented any fogging
- features a 40 mm filter thread
- includes gas mask, filter, carrying bag
