Protective vest for rescue forces and law enforcement services

• This civilian protective vest in red is designed primarily for rescue forces in medical and fire-fighting services;
• The vest is distinguished from the tactical version by the reflective stripes. These reflective stripes provide high visibility in dark or poor visibility conditions. At the same time it is guaranteed to stand out from other operational groups;
• This protective cover is similar in structure to the vests used by the police and the Bundeswehr. It is made of robust cord.

Quick release system

• The Thor Rescue Vest is equipped with a quick release system. This quick-release system consists of ROC buckles located on the waist belt and shoulder straps; the mechanism allows the vest to be put on and taken off quickly;
• The ROC buckle (Rapid Operational Closure Buckle) was developed by the US Army and is particularly robust. The ROC buckle consists of two parts. An upper part, which is sewn to the belt, and a lower part, which is sewn to the front of the vest. There is also an upper part sewn to each of the shoulder straps. The lower part of the shoulder straps is also sewn into the front of the vest;
• These upper and lower parts of the ROC buckles are connected to each other by inserting them into each other and then locking them together. Unlocking or opening is done by moving forward and pulling upward at the same time.

Wearing comfort

• The vest is fully equipped with 3D spacer material on the front and back. Spacer fabric is used for the lining and provides better ventilation under the vest. Removable shoulder pads are also equipped with padding and can be attached to the shoulder straps via velcro as needed;
• Size adjustment;
• The protective vest cover is available in sizes S to XXL. You cannot start from ready-made sizes, but from usable soft ballistic sizes; Soft ballistics are optionally available. Adjustment to body size is via the shoulder straps, which are continuously adjustable by Velcro;
• Adjustment to body circumference is via the waist belt;
• Waist circumference adjustment is made through the flexible part at the back of the harness. This area is equipped with a large elastic band to ensure high wearing comfort. The top is provided with a Velcro surface. The Velcro area is attached under the cap on the back of the vest and can be continuously adjusted.

Accommodates ballistics

• This protective vest cover accepts soft ballistic inserts in the front and back. The ballistic inserts are cut in such a way that they also protect the sides under the belt. Depending on the use of the ballistics, the insert provides protection against handgun ammunition. Ballistics for this vest are optional.

Visibility and marking

• The distinct difference from the tactical vests worn by police and military is the MOLLE reflective strips attached to the vest. The wearer can be clearly seen from all sides and distinguishable from other emergency personnel. If you extend the vest with the Rescue series pockets, visibility is still maintained as they are also equipped with reflective or eye-catching elements.

Velcro panels

• To mark your affiliation, such as rescue service, law enforcement or even the press, Velcro panels are attached to the front and back. Here you can attach appropriate Velcro emblems.
